Tru Balance Pool Care is a Veteran-Owned and Operated Pool Service and Repair Company rooted in integrity, selfless service, and a commitment to excellence. Our values are simple: take the path less traveled, do the right thing, and pass it on. Our mission is straightforward: maintain Tru Balance.
Founded by James Tweed, a medically-retired U.S. Army Non-Commissioned Officer, Tru Balance Pool Care brings a unique blend of technical expertise and purpose-driven service to your backyard oasis. James served as both a 91J (Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer) and a 68K (Medical Laboratory Specialist), gaining hands-on experience with industrial water pumps, reverse osmosis systems, and chemistry-based technologies.
After his military service, James worked in the commercial insurance industry, supporting contractors and repair shops—sharpening his appreciation of operational risk mitigation and ethics-based business practices. His lifelong goal of business ownership combined with a love for the outdoors and working with his hands made Tru Balance Pool Care the perfect start-up business.
